For those familiar with Dr Jeremiah there will be a lot of familiar material here. As I read the book I recalled many of the discussions here from previous books or programs. The book begins rather lightweight but by the time you get to chapter 8 the book ramps up to more serious and meaty material. This is classic Jeremiah: stories, illustrations, news items and stats, nothing too controversial or edgy, politically correct theologically speaking all to illustrate his views. David comes from a literal viewpoint from his Dallas seminary theology so you will see him believing Babylon will be rebuilt as a real city down the road one day as a world commerce center. Dr. Henry Morris espoused the same theology in his Henry Morris Study Bible. Glaringly missing were comments on the ecumenical movement and tensions within the Church worldwide which for me hold phenomenal prophetic significance. But that is beside the point. This book will go down as David's magnum opus at nearly 500 pages, some or much of which was gleaned from previous material as mentioned earlier you will see if familiar with his ministry. But for those looking for a current treatment of Biblical prophecy by news headlines and world events happening now, and for those new to Dr. Jeremiah, it is good for a one volume treatment from a literal Biblical interpretation of current events and as a primer in evangelical theology.
If you want to know what is happening in the world today, this book will lay it all out to you. It's far more than a commentary on Revelations. It's an accurate explanation for current and coming events. Can't praise it highly enough.
I would definitely buy this book. It was very helpful on understanding the end times especially the segment on the Holy City.
Another great book by David Jeremiah which deals extremely well with in time signs and Like his other books very easy to understand

Dr. Jeremiah have divided this information into 31 different subjects and divided those into five parts. The five parts are: International Signs, that give a description to signs connected to five different countries; Israel, Europe, Russia, America and the area that was part of Babylon. 2nd part is Cultural Signs; that include Materialism, Spiritual Warfare and others. 3rd part is Heavenly Signs: these deal with the Rapture, Resurrection, Judgement and others. 4th part is Tribulation Signs that are mentioned in the book of Revelation. The 5th part is the End Signs that has to do with the Millennium and other things that take place after the second coming of Christ.The book is well written and easy to understand and is loaded with information that is Biblical sound and should help anyone understand the end times better. Use it for Bible study and share your findings with others. This book can be a help to young and older readers. In The Book of Signs, Dr. Jeremiah (as well as many others) assume that the current "Jews" residing in Israel today are God's chosen people. According to Deuteronomy 28, it looks as if black people fit God's curses as a sign of the chosen people, the Israelites. The curses align with everything black people have experienced especially since they came over in ships, were scattered around the world, struck with scorching heat, carcasses were eaten by birds, have a confused mind, are oppressed daily, pledged to be married to a woman but another man took her, sons and daughters went into captivity, are ridiculed among all the people, foreigners will rise higher and they sink lower, wear iron yokes around the neck, etc. In Revelation 2:9 it says, "I know your afflictions and your poverty—yet you are rich! I know about the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan." Revelation 3:9 says, "I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you." Jeremiah states on page 13 in the book that when Israel was "restored to its land," it was "the result of a secular Zionist movement." The Bible says in Ezekiel 37: 21 that the Lord will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone and gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. The Lord will do it, not a secular movement.
